It’s 1979 again, but the Democrat president is even worse.

Very true, but: 1) We have no Reagan this time around; and 2) The electorate is drastically dumbed-down by comparison to 1979.

Yeaaaah... Back then we used to elect conservative Democrats, here in MA, believe it or not.
