Spain imports a lot of their population from South America (just like the US); I don’t think many North Africans speak Spanish anymore. The Moroccans crossing into Spain are probably on their way to France, where more of them would speak the language (and unemployment isn’t 22% yet).

Please note that the same socialism of 70 years ago is alive and well in most synagogues today.

Socialism works fine in small societies where every member willingly accepts the rules. The tragedy of commons strikes when some members start subverting the rules.

As an example, most families live by communist principles: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." This is possible only because the society in question is very small; also, it fails in many families - as soon as one member decides that he doesn't want to work and doesn't care about others.

Both shootings (soldiers and Jews) took place deep inside Muslim-majority SW France:

One of my friends from high school studied in France for a year at the University of Strasbourg and during his down time, he toured France Marseilles is full of mooselimbs and that was in 1988/89. His French room-mate at the dorm was so anti-Moslem that he always said, "one in the ocean is pollution, all of them in the ocean is the solution." The three recently murdered soldiers were of North African origin, and a fourth who was injured is from the French Caribbean. Now Jewish people.

Looks more and more like neo-nazis. Sky News here is reporting that three soldiers last year who also come from the barracks the dead soldiers are from were expelled from the French Army because of extreme neo-nazi behaviour, including dressing up in nazi clothes and taking nazi salute photos.
