In case you really want to know....his statement was about employment figures rising and falling
.. and he cares very much about the rate of unemployment...
..but the state of the nation is paramount to beginning of healing that would correct the problems with our present unemployment.
There....now you know the truth.
Would be nice if, in future post, you reflected that.
Maybe you should ask for further clarification before you say silly things. I would also recommend developing a sense of humor
My comment was meant to illustrate Rick’s political incompetence in a humorous fashion. Once again he’s served up ammunition to an unfriendly media. I did read his entire statement. I understood what he was saying perfectly. However, he failed to connect the loss of freedom to short term economic indicators like unemployment as he should of done (instead choosing “I don’t care about unemployment”). By not explaining himself better and not choosing his words more carefully he allowed the media to take a snip of what he said. He needs to do a better job of explaining things and quit serving up soundbites.
