Obama has concrete results of his now three plus years in office?
About as “concrete” as the overshoes that used to be poured around the feet of the rats the mob then threw into the East River.
When the magic is gone, it is gone....
Unfortunately, the money that is NOT going to Obama’s re-election, will be poured into the effort to hold the Senate and retake the House of Representatives.
And that trade may be one which we can ill afford.
No, my point was that Obama has to run on his “record”, such as it is, rather than on promises and wishes. He can’t run on hot air, finger pointing, and empty rhetoric, even though that’s pretty much all he has.
His record stinks, partly because of his leanings, and partly because doing productive work and creating meaningful results is something he is not accustomed to.
Community organizer? How do you measure results with a job like that? Exactly when is the community organized? How do you know when its done? Heck, how do you know if it has started?
So, he’s lagging, rightfully. Not as much as he should, but as you say, the magic is gone, and that’s something.
Now comes the hangover.
