As a black man that grew up in the ghetto I'm aware of the harassment from the police and as an adult that lives in the suburbs today! I'm not sure what to think about this one, but today in my suburbs I'm guilty until proven innocent! As I've said it here before, I was pulled over four times in eight weeks in my own neighborhood! Were they "protecting and serving"?

That's unfortunate that PD is operating that way. At our PD our race ratios of traffic stops mirror our local populace's race ratios, even though our town is on a major highway. You get stopped in my town if you do something wrong….not if you look funny.
I'm curious though, how long were you detained each time? Were you handcuffed? Were you forced out of your vehicle? Did the officers forcefully search your vehicle? Were you given any frivolous traffic citations?

I wouldn't call a professional black man that's driving a BMW 5 series, "looking funny". And yea, it's paid for!

Never detained, never handcuffed, never forced out of my vehicle, never searched, nor did I received a traffic citation!

I did go to the local police station to raise hell and I haven't been pulled over since then.
