The quality of posted threads lately has hit a new low in quality. Being unable to know such basics as what country is under discussion makes for total frustration to continue.
Life is too short.
Nation building was a huge mistake on many fronts.
We simply should have used “shock and awe” to take out our enemies as quickly as possible and left. And said we’ll return and do more of the same only on a larger scale if they continue to attempt to kill Americans.
Otherwise leave them to their hell hole. They like it.
These people will always support the side that is of their own blood... does not matter if that person killed one of them. They judge that as less than the death of one of theirs (no matter if Taliban or terrorist) than death by the hand of one of ours..EVEN IF THAT DEATH WAS TO SAVE ONE OF THEIRS!!!! Get the hell out of that piss hole! I remember Reagan presidency and watching the Russians wallowing in that quagmire. Never would have believed that the “oh so intelligentsia” in our government would have introduced us to this crap.
the guy gives Salauddin and Akbar as examples of the “nice Moslem” — firstly you have to really hunt to find some. Secondly, in the middle-east Saladin isn’t as revered as his successor who slaughtered Christians and Jews. And Akbar tried to create his own syncretic religion that wasn’t Islam.
2 tell them IN WRITING .. If any death or destruction to the USA comes from any area of their country, that area will be carpet bombed to complete oblivion. This WILL include women and children, poppy fields and goats.
3 if there is linked death and destruction in the USA, follow through unflinchingly with the carpet bombing and wait for the next target to reveal itself.
The result we are seeing is the result of fighting (losing) a politically correct war. You either have a war designed for VICTORY or you stay home. Doing neither gives you this result every time. How many examples do we need? Korea, Vietnam Nam, Iraq and now Afghanistan?
Why no barf alert?
Where the hell is America’s outrage at the killings of American troops by Afghan troops? Have they been threatened by the US govt to let it fade from memory?
Bring our troops home and stop the endless paycheck to that country.
All those countries only like and tolerate us because of the millions/billions we send them.
We need to really look at how many countries our money goes to. I’m sure someone by now has a long list of those.
Time for the “demons” to depart and leave the angels of Islam to rape and torure each other in peace.
