They're tighter than a tied turkey.
Did you know that?
Arianna Huffington.
AOL.
The Reverend Al Sharpton.
The first two partner with a third. Radio One, which owns NewsOne. NewsOne, being home base for the Reverend Al's radio show. Which in turn ahhhh, patience.
Safe to say between the three -- AOL, Arianna, and Al -- there's enough hypocrisy to choke the entire field of horses in the next Kentucky Derby.
You saw all this foo-foo, right?
The haughty statement on Rush Limbaugh issued by AOL and published by its partner in the AOL Huffington Post Media Group? This statement:
"At AOL one of our core values is that we act with integrity," said Maureen Sullivan, an AOL spokeswoman who confirmed the decision. "We have monitored the unfolding events and have determined that Mr. Limbaugh's comments are not in line with our values. As a result we have made the decision to suspend advertising on The Rush Limbaugh Radio show."
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh really?

Among the three.
I did a memory search and could find no AoL ads on Rush to dump.
I wonder if AOL is sponge worthy, rich enough to buy an ad on Rush.
My collection of mint still in the wrappers AOL disks and CD’s still awaits AOL death and ebay
He’d been doing a voice ad for AOL Tech Guru - it was even one of those he worked into the program.
Reading that sentence just set my teeth on edge — glad to see it’s not just me. I’m regularly amazed at the demonstrations of writing skill deficiencies by those who are paid for writing. I guess I can only take it as a sure sign of my approaching curmudgeon stage of life.
I remember one it was for AOL computer repair. I thought it was odd at the time. It was at least 3 weeks ago.
No, it is a sure sign of the depreciation of education in this country. A high school graduate, much less a college graduate, should know better...........at least they did when I was in school. We diagrammed sentences in 6th grade!................or possibly before, it’s been along time.................
One of Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals is to hold the opponent to the technical letter of the law and make them follow their own values to a tee while at the same time there are no rules or standards for themselves. That is why we see so much hypocrisy. They don’t care about getting caught. The media will cover for them.
All they want is power so why care about values? With power they don’t need values. Why worry about us? They plan to kill us anyway as well as many of these media types who support them.. Stalin killed many who supported the Communists against the tsar, reasoning that if they would be treasonous to the tsar what assurance did he have they wouldn’t also betray him.
"Sponge worthy" references an old line of Julia Louis-Dreyfus's from Seinfeld .... ewwww .... not sure if it "fits" the criterion you were highlighting, of AOL's being tall enough to reach the bar and order up a Rush ad.
My collection of mint still in the wrappers AOL disks and CD’s still awaits AOL death and ebay
Hey, I kept mine, too! .... offhandedly, having no other purpose for them than perhaps to slip to some "disk-surfing" kiddies.
Now you've given me a mission statement for my pile of canned and/or shrink-wrapped AOL 6.0 or whatever come-on disks.
