Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said Monday she wished her female colleagues from across the aisle had lobbied her to vote against the Blunt amendment, legislation that would have enabled employers to opt out of providing health insurance that covered medicine or procedures they morally objected to.
Murkowski, who voted for the GOP-backed bill, has since said that she regretted her vote.

A senator in supposedly the greatest deliberative body on earth can't think for herself. It is pretty simple for me. Either the gov't can force religious institutions to do things against their conscience or the First Amendment means what it says. But I guess that is expecting too much from the right honorable Dimwit from Alaska.

So she’s anti-First Amendment and admits to being a weak minded fool, words fail to express my loathing for these liberal Republicans.

she wished her female colleagues from across the aisle had lobbied her to vote against So she would be a democrat, if only someone would ask?
Not all that surprising given her voting record.

In other words, if they would have bribed me, I would have voted their way.

So, let me see if I’ve got this straight. If they would have lobbied ($$$) her, she would have voted correctly. Is that it?

What I regret is that the Senate had to even vote on this. If the government would stay within its constitutionally mandated responsibilities and not intrude into our lives with Social programs, then people could choose medical coverage within their belief systems.

Please someone, tell me what to do. I can’t make my own mind up.
How stupid can someone be. At least she should have kept her mouth shut.

I regret her vote too...every single one of ‘em.
I really regret her re-election.

Few politicians make the bile rise in my throat the way Murkowski does. It’s not even the politics; I’d loathe her if she was impeccably conservative. She is the embodiment of everything that is wrong with politics. Murkowski is nothing more than a crony mouthpiece for special interests enjoying the prestige and compensation of being a U.S. Senator.

WHO cares what she says or does, she is an illegitimate Senator who lost in the primary and ran in the general anyway, using every cheating scheme in the book to get though that general election.

Now Alaska, you have 5 years to cultivate a conservative to campaign against her. Don’t pick some weak candidate like you did last time. You guys can do it.

[ Alaskan patriots: PLEASE rid us of this wretched hag. ]
She only won the Senate BECAUSE democrats voted for HER and NOT their own democrat candidate for the Senate..
They(democrats) KNEW whom she was.. the republicans were for Joe Miller a real republican..
A small number RINOs voted for her and a large portion of democrats..
Democrats WERE WATCHING this gambit because it worked..
Don’t think this ploy will not happen in other places..
IF its not happening already..
Not ALL republicans are republicans.. democrats can smell them..
In a general election anybody can vote for anybody..
Moosecowski STOLE the Senate election..
I think Palin and Miller should run against her.. and/or the other “demon” Begich..
