The link says the man has NOT given up yet,that the siege is still going on. It mentions that his brother is also a radical and that they had a car filled with explosives. The (expletive deleted) also has stated that he planned to kill another French soldier in Toulouse today;the victim was already picked out.

The owner of a local motorcycle repair shop says he contacted police after they (finally!) released security camera footage of the attacker approaching the school. He knew the motorcycle, and remembered a recent conversation with the owner, who said some odd things about the location chip in his cycle, and also that he had recently changed the color.
