The only criteria that I'm using here are the things that we know...
Martin had not just the right to be there but reason to be there.
Martin was unarmed.
Martin was walking (not running or peeping into windows).
Zimmerman has a history of seeing the boogeyman (based on his history of repeated calls to 911).
Zimmerman was armed.
Zimmerman followed (pursued) Martin even after being admonished about it.
Zimmerman used racial epithets to describe Martin (find the uncensored 911 tape).
Martin was on the phone to his friend telling her that he was being followed (call and time verified by her and his cell records)and he was trying to get away.
One of the two instigated a confrontation.
It turned physical.
Zimmerman killed Martin.
Things we don't know...
How close did Zimmerman get to Martin.
Where was the gun.
Did Zimmerman make any effort to detain Martin (an effort which Martin would have had every reason and right to resist physically).
