I’m a Newt supporter and haven’t given up yet . . . but IF Mitt is it . . . then I can only hope and pray that this primary battle has made him stronger and perhaps even opened up his eyes a little bit as to the principals of true conservatism . . . not perfect but way better than 4 more of Obama . . . especially IF the healthcare gets overturned. We need a very strong House and to win a good decent majority in the Senate. Getting rid of Boehner and McConnell and replacing them with maybe Ryan and Rand Paul or somebody would be a vast improvement. They will need to be strong and guide a Romney to the right path.
Exactly! that's what I've said all along too. We need Conservatives elected to the House and Senate to keep Romney in check if he's the nominee and winner. And yes, Boehner and McConnell need to be replaced and I love your choices, I'd add Bachmann to that list too.

Romney is WORSE than Obama. He'll dramatically move the GOP to the left and will have to go eight years without a conservative in the White House instead of four. He will work with RINOS and Democrats to get things passed Obama could only dream of. Any gains and then some that Republicans made in Congress in 2010 will be wiped away when Republican signs off on liberal policies that Republicans will get the blame for when they fail.
