Wednesday morning was supposed to be a high point for Mitt Romney, who secured one of the the most sought-after endorsements of the cycle in former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush after an easy win in Illinois. Instead, a coalition of Democratic and Republican political operatives used every possible tool at their disposal, from cutting-edge social media to old-school political theater, to spoil his day completely.
The story began with a gaffe by Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom, who responded to a CNN reporter’s question about whether his candidate had moved too far to the right in the primary by comparing the campaign to a certain children’s toy.
“It’s almost like an Etch-A-Sketch,” Fehrnstrom said. “You can kind of shake it up and restart all of over again.”

A fine little Obama/media/opposition attack on Romney, but hardly of the Bloody Thursday caliber the Romney/media/GOP-E brought against Newt in Florida, and that Santorum chimed in on, just to once more be seen lending an assist to the GOP-E, in the kill.
Pulverized for daring to fight back, called “mean” and “cantankerous” Newt was brought even lower by his enemies. And ours.
Well, we ought to darn well MAKE it bloody. I can’t think of a more fitting description, (welllll, yes, I can but not here,) for the romney campaign and the entirety of the man’s dishonesty. Etch a Sketch is perfect.

Etch a Sketch works for both candidates still standing, IMHO, but for Newt, whose voice has been silenced for lack of funds.
If it is true that one can know a man by whom his enemies are, then there remains only ONE deserving of the nomination.
Santorum and Romney daily ingratiate themselves to Newt’s enemies and ours, as they campaign Right and legislate Left.
Go figure.
I wish that we could shake the screen and erase Romney altogether.
The aide quoted here is admitting that once Mittens gets the nomination, he will reveal his true moderate/liberal positions to win the general election.
This is just like certain proselytizers of an extreme religion or cult who say one thing to gain the trust of a potential convert, all the while hiding the true beliefs.
Sort of like: Hey, WE believe in the trinity too! Don’t worry, our doctrines are basically just like yours!

His supporters are keeping the focus on what he is saying now, yet he's a KNOWN LIAR and not on his record! The way they designed his campaign to be. Along with their mantra designed for him 'anyone but barry' for votes.
