I agree with you, Mr. B., that they were scared. No doubt. But what could’ve been the outcome had she actually had a gun? One young man walks away and another takes a slap from her. How much does it take before someone realizes, “We outnumber this lunatic and need to wrestle her to the ground before someone gets killed?” After all, what is it that’s coming from her mouth? “I will kill you.”

There’s another factor at play beyond just the PC fear.
No matter how “crazy” and threatening this woman was being,
if a few had gotten up to restrain her, or the assaulted man had reacted, there were some males in the room that would have sided with her, violently, and with impunity.
