When asked about the VP slot, Perry responded that he was more interested in staying the governor of Texas.

Perry knows Gingrich’s campaign isn’t going to result in Gingrich getting the nomination. Perry doesn’t want to upset his current status for pie-in-the-sky.

Why the question mark in the title of the article? I watched the video and Governor Perry left no doubt he is supporting Newt.
