For a very similar case to this one but with the races reversed, google David James, white vet, killed by black retiree, Trevor Dooley in September 2010. Dooley, even though he initiated the confrontation, was not charged in the killing of James.

James was White Dooley was the reason. If Zimmerman had been Black and Martin White, this case would have been closed.
