Santorum has a knack of making himself look bad. He makes statements which may hold some truth but never thinks about the future ramifications of what he says. This is idiocy, a completely unnecessary statement, designed only for the benefit of his self absorbed self. I pray Santorum will not by luck become president, it would be a daily carnage by media. An unmitigated disaster.

The media has a knack for making whoever they choose look bad. Each candidate is guilty of gaffes.

He would clean house as President Santorum and would staff Washington with TOP CONSERVATIVES in all government agencies, cleaning out that place. He would grow in the job. He would have it no more easier or tough than the national MSM towards Ronald Reagan. Convinced of it. You gotta admit. Santorum is an absolute energetic, sincere, fighting, scrappy tireless campaigner and will not give up. He has "Presidential fire in the belly" and is having a great time at the same time. God Bless Him daily, he will prevail I feel it. Just when the media and Elite GOP-e get cocky, WHAM!, they are in for a Southern and Heartland Surprise. Outspent like that, with an array of national RINOs against him and he is still winning primaries or coming in second. This guy has incredible moxie, not a soul can tell or show me otherwise. I think strength must be from the family and their daily praying sessions and masses and huddles before heading out there again for one more vigorous day to stay in the race. HATS OFF TO SUCH A MAN IN OUR PARTY.

Yeah. Because when Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush I and Bush II were President, it was smooth sailing everyday for them with the MSM. They never fabricated stories to try and destroy them. Give me a break.

Santorum has a knack of making himself look bad. He makes statements which may hold some truth but never thinks about the future ramifications of what he says. I was thinking that at this stage our best hope was for Romney to unify the GOP by bringing in Santorum. This way Santorum could help keep Romney pointed in right direction. Romney strong on financial issues, Santorum strong on social matters, I thought it could work.
I think Santorum just blew up that idea.

“it would be a daily carnage by media”
In case you haven't noticed any honest man or true conservative in the public arena is always subject to “daily carnage by the media.” Look at
Sarah Palin. Look at Rush Limbaugh.
I do not think we should choose our candidates based on the cowardly standard that we are afraid the media will lie about them or attack them. Choose the man with the strongest moral principles. Choose the man who sticks to his principles and is not afraid of dishonest attack after dishonest attack. Choose the man who is not afraid of “daily carnage by the media.”

This is idiocy, a completely unnecessary statement, designed only for the benefit of his self absorbed self. If a candidate you liked said, you'd be calling the statement principled and the truth. The statement was both. Romney is an unacceptable nominee and would greatly depress Republican voter turnout.
