Calls from national media, state activists, and more
POSTED: Jan. 8, 2012
Calls and emails have been coming in from across the country.
As we've recently reported, former Mass. Governor Mitt Romney publicly re-stated his support for homosexual "rights" in America while campaigning in Iowa last month. This included his agreement with the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" in the military; he said he wouldn't reverse that. He does say that marriage itself should be one man and one woman but that homosexual relationships should be recognized, respected, and supported.
Romney discusses his views on "gay rights" with the editorial board of the Des Moines Register. See video here.
And now as (in 2006) MassResistance is being contacted by activists from primary states around the country, and by national media. Over the years MassResistance has extensively documented the sordid 2003 "gay marriage" court ruling, the government's complicity in the homosexual agenda in the schools, and other related troubling issues. And from his candidacy for Governor (2002), through his administration (Jan. 2003-Jan. 2007), Romney and his administration were in the thick of it.

Well, I have never like Mitt. So these types of statements are more evidence NOT to support him.
I can only hope that when BO wins a second term, that the GOP might have both houses with leaders who would stand up to the little commie punk, Barry-boy. Gridlock for 4 years with BO whining the whole time might not be so back.
But based on past performance, the repubs are just gutless wonders who might even side with BO! We are SO screwed!
However?
Obama is far, far more dangerous than Romney will ever be.
If we hold Romney to his promises, we will be fine.
If Obama achieves his goals, we are screwed!
“Romney voices support for “gay agenda.”
He’s in “good” company with Jimmy Carter.
“Jimmy Carter supports same-sex marriage as he launches his new Bible”
Ohmigosh, you’ve said it all.
Dittos.
I cannot believe the disintegration of logic that appears all too often on this forum.
Some people here are obsessed with all the wrong things.
Either because they are dead set on a certain candidate or because of hatred of another, they are lending daily support to the most evil enemy of our country.
Obama is so horrible, such a traitor, such a dictator and so wrong on EVERYTHING that there is no way he could be elected unless people sit at home, brooding over minor issues and minor faults of our own candidates and patting themselves on the back until their arms ache over stuff like purity.
Stuff like I won’t be manipulated again into voting for someone not pure, not conservative enough, not to my liking for various reasons, so I won’t vote.
It’s scary. My first choice didn’t run (Palin), my second choice (Rick Perry) was destroyed here and nationally by lies and hatred, my third choice (Newt) has faded into a position that makes it almost impossible for him to get the required democrats.
I’m left with my fourth choice (Santorum) and I will not say one word against him. Not at this point. I have said stuff in the past, but never again.
It’s time. It’s time to stop whining and get behind anyone who’s running against Obama.
Unless our candidate has visible horns and a tail, we should support him.
I suggest that you ponder the “Serenity Prayer”
You seem angry, bitter, and rather useless, frankly, at political strategy.
I would also suggest that you start helping Conservative House and Senate candidates.
We hold Romney’s feet to the fire, with VOTES!
It really scares me, the number of “moderates” rallying around Mittens (and RINO Rick). Moderates don’t understand our constitution or what our country stands for. Gay is NOT okay, and Romney can not possibly be a true American president in the tradition of Washington and Reagan, if he is going to support this sickening agenda. How could he possible place his hand on the HOLY Bible with a straight face? Let’s hope the GOP, and country wakes up, and ditches Romney. This true conservative will only be voting for Newt or a viable, and increasingly necessary third party candidate.
However? Romney is FAR better than Obama.
I am not mad at you for trashing Romney, I am mad at you for helping Obama, who is a clear and present danger to my survival as a free person, and to the survival of my country.
Romney does not hate America, he simply does not understand conservatism.
Obama does hate America.
