This is even more reason to push for Tenney to win the primary. There are fears of a repeat of the election of Bill Owens, but I’m willing to chance it. Auh2orepublican is correct that some random Democrat needs to be paid off to get on the ballot and also have someone from the Liberal Party as well.
The Liberal Party folded after the 2002 elections (when it nominated Andrew Cuomo, who lost the Dem primary and got only like 2% of the vote in the general). The Working Families Party is the liberal third-party nowadays.
But the filing deadline was today, so if a Democrat didn’t file by now I fear that it’s too late.
