I understand Mr. Zimmerman’s mother is from Peru.
My nephew married a girl from Peru. She refers to herself as a Latina, and never uses the word Hispanic to describer herself.
That being the case, why are not the Hispanic/Latino folks speaking up about the lynch mob mentality that is going on in our country? I really do have concerns about the safety of Mr Zimmerman, as all sense of fairness has gone from the discussion (if you can call it that) of the case.
One more thing - George Zimmerman’s family name sounds either German or Jewish (or both?), and neither groups emjoy any sympathy from liberals now. He would be a lot better off with an Irish surname, IMHO. (this is just my opinion and a bit of sarcasm).
The Country is so confused it doesn't know which way to think and I think that is the entire objective.
One thing is for sure, this whole thing shows how easy it is to whip up an ignorant mob.....test run or warm up??
Dat be some scary sheite in its self....prepare accordingly.
A distinction without a difference. Although, I must say, there are Hispanics and there are Hispanics. They are anything but an undifferentiated monolithic group

George used to be an altar boy. His father was a magistrate judge in Virginia, and his mother worked as a court translator.
To USAF: I couldn't get the links to come across but there were cases in 2004 and 2009 (or thereabouts) where children of white immigrants from Africa were booted from school, fired, and otherwise beat-up on for using the term African American. I don't know the final results of legal actions etc. But you sure don't hear about them nowadays.
