My buddy AZ .44 MAG let out the secret to shooting Mosins a couple of week ago on this thread:
Eventually the scar tissue will make your shoulder work like it's one solid immobile piece.
:) A very small price to pay for massive overpenetration and supernova-size muzzle flash.
