Yup, freedom of speach. It’s only for liberals now. Except for Free Republic. Gotta wonder how long this haven will last...

Free speech is meant to protect unpopular speech. Popular speech, by definition, needs no protection.

Um, in case you haven't noticed, we're “unpopular speech” now...

This is insane-there are people who posts on these kinds of forums, who try to shut opposition voices down too. This stuff is getting bad into our general public.

Can you point to examples where someone promoting a pro-Newt position had their post pulled, for reasons other than basic forum guidelines such a personal attacks, profanity or copyright violations?

Methinks your problem is TOO MUCH free speech regarding Newt here - both pro and con.

I think I hear it..I wonder whether others do..It is the sound of the winds of war. This will go on only until true Americans are again willing to risk it all to save their country..God help all of us to use wisdom as we face what I fear is inevitable.

Yup, freedom of speach. It’s only for liberals now

They jail people for "racist" speech in Britain. A kid just went down for 56 days in jail for Twittering nasty things about some soccer player who had a heart attack and died on the field.

Poor taste, but...jail?

A BBC documentary triumphantly chronicled the implementation of a surveillance state since the immigration of non-white soccer players began in the 1970s. They portrayed it as a great thing - they now have cameras and microphones in stadiums all over Britain which focus in on people making "racist" statements during games.

They did mention Enoch Powell and his Rivers of Blood speech, but mainly to point out that the conflict did get started, but was nipped in the bud by the imposition of police state restrictions...on the native population.

I have no idea why the United States are any more allied with this dimwitted, Leftist shell of a dead country.

> But the Left sees it as a model. "Hate speech" restrictions coming to a legislature near you. All they gotta do is keep the Kenyan in office 4 more, and they can stack the SCOTUS with more Kagan's who will invent a reason why it's all "Constitutional".

Things are being whipped up so that if Zimmerman isn't indicted and convicted race riots are guaranteed. No one on the left gives a damn about actually determining Zimmerman's guilt or innocence.

We know what would happen if a group of white men took up a collection and passed out wanted posters. When Holder let the NBPP bunch walk on the voter intimidation case he sent them the message that anything goes.

These days, having an opinion that differs with what the lib pc crowd thinks, can get you in trouble. He’ll be lucky if he isn’t fired and charged with a hate crime. The world is truly going insane, and the craziest ones make up the democrat party.

He’ll get to sue the city and make a mint. Liberals are all for censorship when it is about speech they don’t like. Typical communists!
