A Millersville University student is charged with severely beating his ex-girlfriend and kidnapping her from a campus dormitory this weekend. Akeem M. Johnson, 24, punched the victim at least 10 times Saturday morning before forcing her from her room at Burrowes Hall and into his car, according to a police affidavit...The victim, who isn't being identified by the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era, sustained a split lip and broken teeth, according to the affidavit.

Also, I guess this is why Trayvon’s mother needs to get trademark protection for the slogan “I am Trayvon” — so she can control which thugs and low-lifes get to use it, and can at least collect some money from people like this before they lose it all paying for lawyers after they beat up their girlfriends.
Who knows, maybe this guy was just taking to heart Trayvon’s tweets about what to do with women, although Trayvon called them something that would get Rush Limbaugh attacked.

Our perception of this is probably culturally biased. We need to be more sensitive and diverse in our thinking.

Blacks make up about 13% of the population yet commit about 43% of murders. Most of which are against other blacks.
When the numbers are normalized, a black man is about 25-50 times more likely to be killed by another black than a white. And black on white murders are about 5-10 times more prevalent than white on black.
If he was unarmed, it’s OK.
