I’m a Sarah Palin supporter, and I will continue to be one. But there are some rare times when she has been wrong on an issue. This is one of them.
It’s not that she’s wrong about the reporter or that Santorum waws right to call him out. I agree with her on that much.
But Santorum’s choice of language was wrong because there were small children on the rope line who heard it. I’m sure Santorum didn’t stop and think about that, but then again, that’s his problem. He rarely engages his brain before he shoots off his mouth.
Sadly, most kids today could melt your eardrums with the language they understand and could use.

I think the “He” you are referring to is Gingrich like seeking will-o-the-wisp ideas of “permanent moon-based colonies within eight years.”
No, Santorum and Palin were wrong on the facts in this case. The reporter was not "twisting his words." Santorum probably forgot what he had said.
Romney is a pretty miserable candidate. Santorum could have answered the question with plentiful examples of Romney's flips.
