Advertisers and some radio stations may have abandoned Rush Limbaugh for calling a Georgetown law student a "slut." But the CEO of the radio company that distributes Limbaugh's show, San Antonio-based Clear Channel, says he's sticking with the conservative talk show host, calling him the "king" of radio.
Bob Pittman told The Associated Press in an interview Tuesday that the outrage over Limbaugh's comments last month was "part of the normal day-to-day of talk radio." He also noted that Limbaugh apologized for the first time in 30 years.
Speaking publicly for the first time since the controversy erupted late last month, Pittman said that advertisers leaving the program did not have a major impact on the company and there has not been a major move among stations to drop Limbaugh.

I remember watching Rush’s television show in the early 90s. Glad everything is OK.
Good that somebody knows which side of his bread the butter is on.
Fluck(sic) is still a slut by her own testimony.
Rush should not have apologized, and a slut is still a slut.
I.E.; Rush is still the big man on campus and Media Matters will achieve nothing as usual. Personally, I don't hear a lot of dead air and PSA's during commercials on his show to fill all those vacancies left by advertisers.
Amazing how AP can put such a negative spin on such a positive story.
Fluke is history. When the Commie ‘RATS realized that they failed, they threw her under the bus and moved on to Treyvon, Skittles, hoodies, the two race pimps Al and Jesse and race riots. Fluke’s “15 minutes” turned out to be 2 minutes and 37 seconds.
Of course they do.
How are the Air America guys doing?
Like Rush says, conservatives get mad when you lie to them, democrats get made when you tell them the truth.
The MSM/Media Matters/Whitehouse has moved on from attempting to lynch Limbaugh to now attempting to lynch Zimmerman; anything to deflect attention from soon to be $5 gas and 9 percent unemployment.
The nine per cent employment is closer to twenty.
That’s where the left gets its fuel. He buckled. Hyenas go for weakness.
