AP: ....."Gingrich's strategy hinges on preventing front-runner Mitt Romney from winning the 1,144 delegates he needs for the nomination, Gingrich spokesman RC Hammond said Tuesday night. The former House speaker plans to spend much less time in primary states and instead personally call delegates to try to persuade them to back him at the Republican National Convention in August.

"We are not going to cede to Mitt Romney's strategy to take the party down," Hammond said. Ultimately, Gingrich would take the fight to the convention floor, Hammond said.".....

“There is no reason for this country to have any significant problems. They are almost all an artifact of a really bad governing structure and a really incompetent bureaucratic system.

Exactly!! Bad governing by either a GOP E or liberal president - neither cared about America but staying in power.

Go Newt! Time for a PATRIOT to lead! Someone who the GOP E/liberals don't want. Newt KNOWS where our former leaders went off the track and plans on putting it back on track and KNOWS how to do it!

I watched Newt on O’Reilly last night. I could tell he knew it was over for him.

His goal appears to be to get some of his ideas considered at the convention whether he and Santorum manage to get a brokered convention or not.

Conservatives now have to count the remaining delegates and see if there’s a way for Santorum to win. If there is, then he’s better than Romney.

If there isn’t, then I’m going 3rd party. I will vote my principles.

It would not be wrong to say that I’m disappointed in both Santorum and Gingrich for not bargaining this a month ago. Their not doing so makes me suspicious...tin foil maybe, but nonetheless the 2 of them are not political neophytes. They knew what was happening.

After Florida, it was obvious Gingrich had died. He was the obvious candidate to step aside.

The majority of the remaining states are winner take all .
If Newt does not step aside them Mittens will have enough delegates to win it all .
Newt needs to step down and team up with Rick to stop Nittens and create a
Convention fight .
Romney would be a disaster and a Charlie Crist republican.
He has the lowest approval rating of any modern leading candidate. He has won in open primary states where Dem operatives voted for the father of Obamacare to screw us .
He broke the GOP base with ugly carpet bombing ads .
