I question the candor and honesty of the GF testimony. But I don't know if a bluetooth headset goes dead when knocked off the wearer. Of course it will lose contact with the phone, given distance. I wonder how much of the scuffle she heard.

You know, if she heard the exchange as Zimmerman described it (You've got a problem now, homey), she's not going to tell the truth.

Plenty of detail evidence available to the grand jury and independent investigator - skinned knuckles, bruises, locations of objects, etc. I think she's going to inadvertently help Zimmerman make his case.

I want to know why his mother said Trayvon ‘was just sitting on the porch and they shot him.’. When he was not ‘just sitting on the porch’. Why was he ducking under other people’s doorway? Because it was raining is not an acceptable answer. People don’t hind under people’s home entrances..he had a hoodie on, why not just walk home? It would have looked suspicious to me..it would appear he may have been checking for unlocked doors.

Tray was sho[t] on day 1 of the suspension

Reports are that Trayvon had been suspended that day and was on day one of the ten-day suspension (first reported as a five-day suspension).

That was Martin's third reported suspension. It's not legally relevant to the shooting (it's not), but one of the suspensions came after Martin was caught with a 'burglary' tool in his pack - a flathead screwdriver. He also had twelve pieces of jewelry (mostly women's earrings and rings) and one watch. It's reported that nothing came of that because Martin said the jewelry wasn't his and belonged to a friend. 'Acting suspicious' and 'but he once probably stole some jewelry' don't have anything to do with the Florida Stand Your Ground law. Unless Zimmerman knew about Martin's past, the previous suspensions didn't figure into Zimmerman's analysis that night.

-- Then why did he run when he noticed that he was being observed? --

Funny thing about Martin's conduct. He noticed he was being observed, so he stares at Zimmerman (who is in his car/truck/SUV whatever). Then he comes closer, sticks his hand in his waistband. Stares some more. Zimmerman is relating all this over the phone to Sanford PD. Then Martin takes off running, and manages to lose Zimmerman.

-- Why did he then return to confront Zimmerman? --

To administer a beat down. He (Martin) was close to home (100, 200 yards, maybe closer), and could have just gone home, with Zimmerman none the wiser.

-- Why did he then attack Zimmerman? --

You wouldn't understand. It's a "savage" thing. Martin felt dissed or something, and was going to show the little prick who was king of the 'hood.

I hadn’t heard his dad lived 200 feet from where he was shot.

Really?

Excellent answers, I must say.

“Martin felt dissed or something, and was going to show the little prick who was king of the ‘hood.”

He got dethroned :)

I'd bet he was looking forward to being able to brag on twitter about the whooping he gave that guy that was checking him out.

1. Where in the project does the father/girlfriend live? Where is the 7/11? What is the proximity, and was it clear Trayvon was just going to and back?

Just by looking at Google Maps, it looks like the closest 7-11 was about 2 km away. Maybe someone else has different information.

Even in my nice neighborhood and surrounding area with not much crime, I wouldn't let a teen walk that far. I'd drive him to the store and back.

ABC did an interview with her and checked her phone records. It was less then five minutes between the time she lost contact with his phone and when the first police arrived. In that five minutes was a gun shot and at least one 911 call reporting the gunshot. The first officer came in responce to Z’s call and was met by a witness who directed him between the buildings to Z an T on the ground. IRC it was the AA teen ager walking his dog.

Officer observed Z’s injuries and wet grassy back; took gum was immediately joined by second car who started CPR on T. EMT were there shortly.

If T’s phone was with him, why couldn’t they trace the owner, Why was he a John Doe? One early report said the police thought the ice tea and candy were stolen....Why? Didn’t he have money or an ID with him? But he had a bluetooth for his phone, body ink etc.

Why wait till the next day to report him missing? Was he in the habit of staying out all night?

Too many questions....

His father's girlfriend's place. I don't know that dad lived there, he might have, or might not.

From memory, I've heard he died anywhere from 60 feet to 100 yards from the entrance to the place he was staying.

What do you mean: Trayvon was ducking under other peoples' doorways?

I have these questions:
was it 2am as reported? if so is there a curfew for minors in Sanford? When was the family notified? What does it mean it took three days to claim the body? where did he live and who was responsible for his whereabouts? Does he have a juvenile record?

Why did they not notice him missing for 3 days?

It's not just the left spreading disinformation. Where did you get that "fact" from?

I have another more pressing question.

If Trayvon had acted with humility and decency and politeness, would he be alive today?

A) If Zimmerman had been rude and racist to him - what are you doing in this neighborhood, you blankety-blank? - and Trayvon had said, “I’m visiting friends/ my father, sir. May I ask who you are?” and then walking to the father’s place and somehow reporting the racist who had verbally accosted him, would he be alive?

b) If Zimmerman had been kind to him but concerned - young man, do you have business in this area? - and Trayvon had answered politely, would he be alive?

In other words, Trayvon’s death is 100% attributed to HIS OWN ACTIONS. Parents, teach your teens to be polite no matter how others treat them. Deal with bad people later. Be polite on the street.
