Because the groundwork has been laid for a presidential power grab under conditions of civil unrest.

Ok...I'm up for that...care to enlarge on that thought? Just how could he legally pull that off?

Key word “legally”.

Do you not think that the recently enacted NDAA plus plenty of regs laid down in FEMA regulations provide for plenty of leeway in terms of what I’ll call “reactive” power in the event of widespread civil unrest?

“Legally” is great, but in most circumstances it is always very much in arrears. In an era of twitter and facebook a widespread breakout of civil unrest is going to outrun the pace of whatever legal forces can be brought to bear. “Legal “ may have little or nothing to do with it.

I believe with Trayvon Martin we are seeing a potential “dry run”.

Personally I think this administration is dedicated to to the downfall of the nation. Gettting re-elected is important because from that position, obviously much greater power can be exerted and much greater destruction can be inflicted. But the nation’s downfall is a higher priority. I sincerely believe that if the 0bama regime sees itself being booted out of office, there is nothing at all it will not pull. And a dozen cities worth of “urban renewal” and a few hundred dead are nothing to them. It would not surprise me to see numerous race riots break out this summer. I don’t say this to be alarming or doomsaying or anything else. I think it’s a perfectly forseeable possibility.
