I don’t know the details of what actually happened, but I do know this kid was a worthless thug.
If he had not been killed by Zimmerman, he would have been killed by another black kid.

That Trayvon got sucked up into that ghetto culture and lost his way by the age of 17 is a tragedy of it’s own that isn’t ever discussed. He was once an innocent child with a future and the ability to make the world better. Now he’s gone. There are so many like him that die every day in every major US city - the vast majority which we learn little about because they don’t have the sensationalistic exploitable angle of a George Zimmerman. Why is there no discussion of the intrinsic issues within these communities, in our popular culture, and in our black culture, that allows the senseless loss of life - and recurrent loss of innocence and promise of the children who live in those communities? Holder was right. We do have a cowardice when it comes to discussions of race, but it is the Holders, Sharptons, Jacksons, Lees, etc. etc. who are the cowards in this regard, and the children they say they care about are the ones who are suffering.

It does appear he was modeling himself on the gangsta culture that pervades the black community, and that has pervaded our own WH, Tray-Von the tough guy made the bad mistake of jumping a white dude who was armed. In the music videos thass not supposed to happen.
neighborhood watch captains aren't the bad guys here, it is gangsta culture and dysfunctional social culture that is killing black (and other) teenagers.
Yet we have the president of the USA firing up union thugs to “bring a gun to a knife fight” and obama inviting BLACK MEN like Cee Lo Green to sing “F##K off” at a fundraiser and he laughs about it.
Yeah Barry, if you had a son, would he look like Trayvon? Are your precious daughters going to hang with dudes like Trayvon? Are they gonna rap along with Cee Lo your man? Or “Ludacris”? Or your other wealthy aging black men entertainers stirring up kids’ racial hatred and anger for profit?
Malia gonna date dudes like Tray-von? Dudes that wear hoodies and pants on the ground, sport a grill, dig their weed, and enjoy the same vulgar angry ranting and racism that passes for “entertainment”?

Trayvon, it appears, had something most black boys do not have....a father in his life.
