There are a lot of good, legal, conservative Hispanic contributors to both Free Republic, the Tea Party, and who are on the right side of the issues.
Labels like that alienate allies and give the left ammunition to accuse the right of being if not racist, at least out of step with minorities.

I agree. That language is inappropriate, and just provides the hard left with ammunition.
