We’ve featured massive brawls before, either at late-night restaurants or even on the streets. And there are many videos we decide not to feature. This video almost fell into the latter category, until we heard what one male bystander started encouraging one of the women featured in the video to do.
These videos hit the internet last week, but have just started to garner more attention. It shows two women (the video calls them “Bootsie” and “China”), allegedly in Atlanta, in an all-out brawl that spans several minutes and even spills over into a parking lot, with one woman smashing the head of the other into the hood of a car.
So why feature the video? We were stunned to see the number of people who stood by and did nothing, many of them taking video and even getting within inches of the fight in order to take better pictures. And that’s after the woman in the yellow shorts threatens to kill the other woman several times.
In fact, one bystander, a male, can be heard saying multiple times, “Hit her with the elbow.” She does.

My hard drinking,tough as nails woman friend had the tip of her finger bitten off in a club by a black woman who didn’t appreciate my friend marrying a black man. My friend is white, and in the military had tons of friends of all colors. I always tell my kids: want to die? Get in hood type fight. No rules. You will be killed or horribly beaten. Carry a gun, and stay away from the hood. Whites have hoods, too.
Right you are. I once worked as an inner-city high school teacher. I would step in and break up fights between two boys, but fights between two girls - no way. I'd wait for help, lots of help.

Oh, wait! I've seen that proclivity in OTHER videos with the Amish, group-beating some individual for some nebulous slight. No sense of fair play to settle the issue, just whatever it takes to prove "their point", that "they" are right, and "win" (many on one, weapons, etc). No discussion, no negotiation, no rules, just immediate escalation to ultra violence (Gang-banger mentality).
Hell of a society we live in...
I have been wondering recently with the current events unfolding on how the Reverend King would feel about how things have evolved with his dream?

My sister-in-law has some horrible tales to tell of her experiences as part of the white minority in a NY high school. The white kids couldn’t even go into the school bathrooms for fear of their lives. If one of the “Amish” bumped into them deliberately, the white kids had to apologize or risk assault.
I believe had he lived, King would have ultimately yielded to the race baiters.
King was the original race-baiter.

I refuse to click on the link. My opinion is that Beck should be ashamed for celebrating this type of behavior, i.e., that of the women and of the spectators.
Hate to say it, but I suspect it will result in a more civilized population through the selective removal of its uncivilizable members.
Come on... women never act like that. They’re so passive, gentle and fragile. If women have a problem, they just talk it out calmly... at least that’s what everyone says.
