After a long year, Congress grants itself an actual recess

The House and Senate left for a two-week break that, for the first time in a year, will not be punctuated by occasional pro forma sessions. Instead, both chambers passed an adjournment resolution this week, granting themselves an actual recess until they both return on Monday, April 16.

..

Despite this battle, Republicans appeared to be put at ease enough to allow an official recess this Easter, in light of a deal that Senate leaders agreed to with the White House. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Thursday that as a result of these discussions, there would be "no recess appointments" over the Easter break.

Words fail me. Too bad the American people don’t get a break from this marxist dictator and the spineless jellyfish who are “at ease” with him pounding us into the ground with czars like Richard Cordray.

The tables have been changed on the states and the American people. The cancer is terminal.

This couldn’t happen unless Democrat leaders approached Obama and asked him not to make any recess appointments.

And if Obummer goes ahead and makes recess appointments anyway?

Will there be outrage and action from the GOP? Betcha there won’t.

Will Harry Reid stamp his little foot and demand reversal? Betcha he won’t.

Will the American people finally DEMAND the ouster of this fake? Any bets?

The “American people”, for the most part, 99%, are unaware of anything going on in the administration, except perhaps what the MSM feeds them. If in fact they read at all.
