My husband and I went to a talk by Robert Spencer and Pam Geller a couple of weeks ago. Spencer said that the Chicago schools stopped serving jello because of complaints by Muslim students. He explained how Muslims consider us all subservient to them so all this complying to their wishes is not endearing us to them at all. It’s sealing our fate.

Chicago suburb Oak Lawn banned jell o ~ so, did the Chicago city school system ban it? Couldn’t find an article about the Chicago city schools actually banning anything except home-made lunches ~ (SEE: http://jonathanturley.org/2011/04/11/chicago-school-bans-homemade-lunches-to-protect-students-from-unhealthy-food-choices/ )

There's really only so much craziness to go around although Cook County Illinois certainly has more than its fair share ~

(1) I Had no idea Oak Park had residents ~ thought it was all factories and warehouses, and (2) The banning of home prepared lunches in the far larger Chicago school system is suggestive of someone finally getting tired of all the schools there smelling like sweaty garlic during the winter months. They do have a longer winter than most.
