What is so remarkable is the refusal of most of the media to view Obama’s attack on the Catholic church as an attempt to remake the establisment clause.
I have not heard one msm correspondent note this very important issue. It’s as though liberals wish to move beyond mere constitutional debate. This has been underlined by the left’s reaction to the SCOTUS debate over health care.
Progressives seem amazed that anyone would want to kill this wonderful law because of a horse and buggy document.
They don’t seem to understand that if the law of the land can be suspended by the will of a temporary congressional majority (and boy...WAS it temporary) then there is no base upon which to govern.
