We have ‘elected GOP Officials’? Who dat? I don’t remember voting for a GOP official ever. We have a county GOP headquarters, do they work there or something?

I am not familiar with Maryland....but here,,, we have elected Congressional District GOP officials.(these localand Congressional district GOP party officials are nominated and voted on at the local convention, just as the delegates are)......those individuals run the local and congressional district conventions...then the state elected GOP officials run the state conventions. At the local level...we have BPOU Constitution and Rules committees that write the rules for the local level convention and running of the party business on the local level...and so on up the line...(I ho0pe this helps rather than confuses the issue more for you) I think it would help if you go to your local GOP headquarter and ask for those folks on the “executive committee” of the local and state party...THEN when you find out who they are...ask for a copy of the constitutiona nd rules for said committee)
maryland should have a state GOP website...check there for info on the Constitution of the Maryland GOP...likewise, your congressional or senate district should/may have a website that should list the party officials and where to see the constitution and rules...if not...your GOP in maryland is more hosed up than the one where I live ;-) LOL
