Florida is in crisis mode? Really???
How many gang killings have happened in Florida since Trayvon Martin????
Is this just liberal hyperbole? Remember that idiot sheriff dude in Arizona, right after the Giffords shooting, who claimed that Arizona was ground zero for hatred and violence and all that? It didn’t matter that we found out that shooter was screwed up in the head and non-political. A political statement had to be made. A Democrat congresswoman was shot, thus, it had to be inspired by politics. (sarcasm)

Yeah, never mind that three branches of government/separation of powers thing — it just gets in the way of justice, right???? [end sarcasm]

Isn't there supposed to be an autopsy performed in instances such as this?
If so, where is the report?
More importantly, was there a tox-screen for drugs alcohol, etc.?
Perhaps Trayvon was off to find some Skittles and ice tea to satisfy the "munchies" and "cottonmouth."

“Florida is in crisis mode,” Smith told reporters.
Yes it is. Brought on by the Race Bait Industry, politicians looking to score some points and the National media looking to distract Americans from Obama’s failing Presidency
What is required in Florida is a leader. not a pack follower.
Mr Smith, you are not a leader.......

Stand your ground is a popular AND GOOD law. It neutered the left and the trial lawyer nuisance suite industry.

Both houses of the Florida legislature are controlled by the Republicans, so they should advise this individual that he is free to organize his little group, but may not use public resources, facilities, or money to do so.

From my understanding of the "stand your ground" law, it only absolves you of the requirement to retreat from an attacker, when considering the use of justifiable lethal force. So, I really don't understand the connection trying to be made between the Martin/Zimmerman case and this law. If Zimmerman was knocked to the ground, he no longer had the ability to retreat, and may not have had an opportunity to retreat during the whole episode.
It also seems that by all this suggestion that it was the "stand your ground" law that allows Zimmerman to be innocent of possible manslaughter or murder charges, is a de facto admission that Trayvon was indeed the attacker.

I don't see any Republicans but Dems were never concerned about bi-partisanship in these political circuses.
