Obama’s uncle back on road after drunken-driving plea

President Obama’s illegal-immigrant uncle has received a limited driver’s license from the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles only a week after entering a plea to drunken driving.

An RMV spokeswoman told the Boston Herald that Onyango Obama, 67, “met all of the criteria” for a hardship driver’s license that allows him to drive in Massachusetts from noon to midnight. The elder Mr. Obama lost his regular license for 45 days in court last week but convinced a hearing officer that being unable to drive would pose an undue hardship for him in his job as a liquor store manager.

The half brother of the president’s late father admitted last week to the facts of the drunken-driving charge without pleading guilty, meaning the charge will be dismissed if he stays out of trouble for a year. He was arrested in Framingham in August with a blood-alcohol level of 0.14 percent, well above the state’s threshold of 0.08 percent.

The senior Mr. Obama, a native of Kenya, also is appealing a deportation order from 1992, when he failed to renew his application to remain in the United States.

In his memoir “Dreams From My Father,” the president wrote about an Uncle Omar, who is likely the same man and has the same date of birth.

So we have an illegal alien working (fraud) as the manager of a liquer store who is also a drunk driver. Not only is there no talk of deportation or prosecution for fraud on his employment, but he is given a driver’s license back.

Justice is not so blind anymore.

The “hardship” criteria should be that the drunk is allowed to ride in a cab to get around. No cab? Walk. Too far? Thou now knowest the meaning of “hardship”.

Onyango Obama ... life without wheels would have posed an
undue hardship on his livelihood as a liquor-store manager.

That is one scary mean looking bad dude!

If Zimmerman saw him walking through his complex, the cops would’a been there in a New York second.
