Ironically this is the anniversary of the infamous April 3, 1974 Super Outbreak.
You have no understanding of their criteria for that map. It's based on severe weather % chances near a given point. If these two tornadoes were out in some farm field nobody would care or notice. And these are the ONLY two tornadoes; it's not a massive outbreak, they're just unfortunately placed.
They did have a tornado watch box out.
Mesquite has one reported on the ground.

... A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 215 PM CDT for
northeastern Dallas County...
At 201 PM CDT... National Weather Service meteorologists confirmed a
large and dangerous tornado. This tornado was located 5 miles east
of Dallas or near the Mesquite Rodeo... moving northeast at 20 mph.
This is a tornado emergency for Dallas... Garland and Mesquite! Seek
shelter now!
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A large... extremely dangerous... and potentially deadly tornado has
been confirmed. To protect your life... take cover now! Move
underground or to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If in a Mobile home... a vehicle or
outdoors... move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

Both cells now have reformed tornadoes, tornado emergency for Dallas and Mesquite TX for the eastern cell.

I guess they were wrong then. Are you not listening to WBAP? There are three tornadoes near Garland and one near Euless.
Some hook echoes on those two cells that you can spot them easily zoomed all the way out like this view.

And yes I am familiar with the SPC Mesoscale Analysis. It is a forecast. Usually, when an outbreak occurs, they update to a PDS.
Justin, Euless and Mesquite have tornado activity currently being reported..
