The republican party is half past dead and if we don’t get a blood transfusion ASAP, it’s over. romney will never beat oscumma in a million years. This is sickening.

By virtue of these Romney wins (and probable eventual Republican nomination), the GOP is giving Obama his second term on a silver platter. Everyone I talk to sees it the same way. Romney is NOT anyone's first choice and people are disillusioned with the apparent John McCaining of conservatives for the second time in a row. This is republican party suicide and everyone can see it except the elites who are forcing this candidate down our throats. May God help America out of this potential disaster.

The primary system needs a dramatic overhaul, but I believe we are out of time.

It’s high time for a third party, but the GOP talking heads in the news media will do their darndest to keep party-line Republicans in line with their usual talking points and scare tactics.

“Let’s change the GOP from within!”

Riiight. It’s not like the establishment holds the reins of power or anything.

“But a third party will never win!”

Romney will never win, either, but we’re supposed to vote for him.

“But a third party will split the vote!”

Good! It’s time for the Republicans to go the way of the Whigs. What did caving to the establishment get us in ‘08? What did it get us in ‘12? Will 2016 be any different?

Last night, Jon Stewart was ranking on Romney’s endorsements, regarding how lukewarm they were. I’m not sure Romney is the first choice of his endorsers, either.

Jon Steward said (paraphrased), imagine what it would have been like, instead of Ronald Reagan’s “Morning in America”, we had Well, I Guess It’s Time to Get Up.

Two events in this primary are what gave us Romney. Just two.

First, all of the Palin supporters refused to believe that she wouldn’t run, despite the fact that she did nothing to prepare for it (no state organizations, no signatures to get on ballots). And that resulted in a large number of conservatives not even bothering to look at the declared candidates. Furthermore, that delayed any chance of us gelling behind a declared candidate to stop Romney. So, by the time the deluded fools finally figured it out, they ended up panicking and jumping from candidate to candidate without really looking them over.

And secondly, our marvelous social conservatives completely *FORGOT ALL ABOUT HOW THE TEA PARTY WON IN 2010*. They *HAD* to go and look for the next Pope of America, instead of the next President. Which, mind you, was *NOT* the formula that got us the overwhelming victory in 2010. That came from focusing on our out-of-control debt and spending, our lack of jobs, and how the government has become an overwhelming behemoth controlling every aspect of our lives.

But *NOOOOO*, we couldn’t rally around *THAT*!!! Why, that *WORKS*!!! That *WON*!!!

No.

We needed a POPE!!!

And now we all going to suffer because of this.

My level of disgust at how so many forgot that formula for success so quickly... knows no bounds.
