The guy can’t be guilty because of our bullying and hate crime laws.
Instead of killing himself, he killed others. Different reaction than outright suicide, but they have made these special laws for special people.
I wonder if Sgt Bale can use this same defense? He is white but perhaps since he’s a ginger, he has some standing there, too?

That's an angle to work on! His defence lawyer should also try out the idea that Bales has an unrecognised disability. There are good possibilities in that.
