As someone who argues in the federal courts of appeal i felt for this woman! i just listened to the argument and i think she handled it quite well, most likely thinking well this is def above MY pay grade, figuring the response would have to be drafted by the political types in the office. It is a mistake to assume that all DOJ attorneys are political, there are career gov’t attorneys who try/argue cases irrespective of the name at the top of the letterhead. As a conservative i found the whole thing DELICIOUS! i hope that the DOL response will be made public.
It's good to have Americans, who are in the position to do so, confront these people and for the rest of the country to see that this administration is not an all powerful office but ONE branch of government bound by Constitutional law.
