The intrigue surrounding a Maryland woman who claims to have won last weeks record-breaking Mega Millions jackpot intensified Wednesday as her attorney held a press conference in Baltimore that yielded few answers.
Attorney Edward Smith, who represents alleged winner Marlinde Wilson, told reporters he had not seen the winning ticket, nor did he want to during the 20-minute long session with the media.
I cannot say with any certainty that this ticket exists, said Smith.
Previously, the 37-year-old Wilson told the New York Post she stashed the ticket in a location that only she knew about inside the McDonalds restaurant where she worked.

“Previously, the 37-year-old Wilson told the New York Post she stashed the ticket in a location that only she knew about inside the McDonalds restaurant where she worked.”
Is any part of that restaurant still left standing?
“Not only have I not seen the winning ticket, I do not want to see it because there is no reason under the sun for me to see it.”
I’ll take “Crazy, Publicity-Seeking Maryland Women” for $100, Alex.
LOL - i bet the CURRENT workers tear the place apart looking for it
I also bet it does not exist
Bernie Madoff goes to jail, and this guy is still walking around free.
I also read on another site that she’s an illegal too. She only speaks Creole. Just sayin’.
Lawyer hopes McDonald's settles out of court. A quick payday for a lying sociopath and her slimy lawyer.
This will be fun to watch. If this woman really IS the winner... you’re going to observe just how fast someone can burn through $100M and have nothing left to show for it.
Does that mean I can just say I won too if I do not have to surrender the ticket?
That poor store owner better surround the place with armed guards for when the homies show up with bulldozers and backhoes. Am I allowed to say ‘backhoes?’
Does that mean I can just say I won too if I do not have to surrender the ticket?
Yeah, why would anyone want to actually see the ticket in undertaking representation?
LOL....what a trip these idiots are
If you get an electronic mail offering to sell you the tresure map to Marlinde’s Millions, treat it with caution. There are a lot of fake ones out there.
I don’t see a problem here. I mean, if someone born a male can be referred to and treated as a woman because he says he “identifies as a woman”, why shouldn’t Ms. Wilson get the money for saying she identifies as the winner?
There is mega millions of stupidity and greed to go around at that McD’s

Don’t lottery winners have to submit the winning ticket by a date certain or they forfeit the winnings?
No! Only if you are Don Imus.
