It was at this event that Obama is said to have told Ali Abunimah not to press him about Palestinian issues, explaining that he would be able to do more for the Palestinians once he is elected a U.S. Senator. Looks like Obama is in the habit of promising being 'able to do more' and 'flexibility' if he can just win that next election.
