Parental control is a pipedream. Parents in Massachusetts tried to get charters granted. Not possible unless they are politically correct . Curriculum and assessments control as much as unions.Choice sounds great but only if you are able to truly escape the system. Tax dollars are the fuel of vouchers,tax credits and choice, when the dollars follow the student.

I would sure like to see an endso to union control and the debt that pensions have created which will bankrupt us. I would just urge caution. Change and choice have not eerved us well in the last 50 + years.

Freedom and liberty are pipe dreams until they happen. It is extremely interesting to me that your private reply seems to contradict your public and more wordy reply. If you are a teacher in Massachusetts, which seems likely from the evidence, I can understand why. However, the collapse of this unwieldy, unproductive and extremely expensive bureaucracy of disinformation from which even the politicians and union leaders opt out, is certain.
