Agreed. Mr. Zimmerman was not a public figure. He was not arrested or charged with a crime. He is a private person, and my understanding of libel is that all he has to do is prove negligence, although there’s malice aplenty to go along with the negligence. And just for fun I’d also sue the New Black Panthers, Al Sharpton, Jesse, and the gang of reprobates who also assaulted his character and reputation. I would not stop until I had their heads on sticks at the outskirts of town to warn the next stupid bastards not to do that again. Metaphorically, of course - I’d like to see them suffer for their conduct, not get killed for it.
