And yet the socialists in our country always take the French socialized medical system as their ideal and that we should implement it here in the US
Back to the French, these fools really believe that their ineffective and out dated socialized medical system is great, the same goes for most Europeans and they get surprised why we use so many sophisticated medical tests and medical equipments to treat patients here in the US. Not only they believe their ineffective socialized medical system is great but they do believe that whole damn corrupt and destructive welfare system is great and the way to go. The problem in Europe is the Europeans themselves, they love the socialist crap system they live in and they want more of it

“Wasn’t the point to make sure the richest and most powerful nation on the planet could protect its own people, as other nations do?” he wrote.
What planet does this guy think he’s on? In my reality, our nation has a long history of protecting other, lesser nations.

actually they viewed the new world as a dumping ground for rable and undesireables.
They never expected the USA to become a superpower or even austrailia to become the power nation.

One thing that troubles me in Europe is the fascist undercurrents that are making way given the sclerotic pace of economic turnaround and huge influxes of immigration over the last 20 yrs. With demographics below replacement levels adding to the weight of the welfare rolls through chronic unemployment and underemployment by the young or massive retirements coming in the near term, I cannot see how Europe is going to get over this insurmountable hump. Europeans (non-ethnic) are simply not having enough children and compounding this fact with immigration from the third wold you have a recipe for disaster. Fascism has always been Europe's pressure valve and i cannot see how it will not be part of Europe's future in the next 5 to 10 yrs. God help them
