A 78-year-old Ohio man says he was a victim of a hate crime when he was severely beaten by group of youths -- who allegedly said "this is for Trayvon," referring to the unarmed black Florida teen killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer.
"[Get] that white [man]. This is for Trayvon ... Trayvon lives, white [man]. Kill that white [man]," the boys are quoted as saying in a police report cited by the Toledo Blade.

I’ve worn an oiled canvas duster for years...body armor would stop bullets a little bit better.
Did I hear Obama say if he had a son he would look like this young hoodlum? I thought not.
We are talking about totally divergent cultures with very little that is bridgeable between them.
What circumstances or actions do you honestly believe might change this?
Sucession. ‘Nuf said!
You are 100% correct. I lived in a fully integrated neighborhood back in the 50s and 60s, and we simply did not have these kind of problems.
A young black man would no more beat up an old white man for no reason than if it were the other way around. It was just common decency.
Granted, people didn't go to the same churches, the same bars, they didn't date the same girls, or even swim in the same pools. But when they were on the street together going about their regular business, they treated each other with some amount of respect. It was a live and let live world from what I observed.
Was there racial discrimination? Hell yes there was. I saw it. Blacks did not have the same opportunities as whites.
The laws were passed ending all of that crap, and those wounds should have been well healed by now, except for the fact that an entire government sponsored race bating industry lead by the likes of Jackson and Sharpton have made millions of dollars picking scabs and insuring that racial wounds and hatred continues while nearly destroying the very people they pretend to support.
We have lost ground from the 1960s, not gained ground.
baby doc Barack is on it!
I was the victim of a home invasion my senior year in college. I have been armed ever since.
That would leave a lasting impression on the animals.
They respect and fear strength.
Great post, Ditto. And, I’ll add, ditto.
Part of Jesse and Al’s “Beat Up A Very Old White Man For Trayvon” Campaign. The hoodie and Skittles crowd loves it.
Those racist thugs have not jumped on the worng white man yet. Let then try me and the butt whipping will go the other way. . . . .

I just don’t see how you can talk about someone the way you are talking. These little kids look like our presidents sons if he had one.
Been there already. We just forgot.
Thug the vote.
Obama’s brownshirts have their marching order.
And to think Charles Manson is still imprisoned for allegedly trying to start a race war while Obama’s pal Billy Ayers roams freely on the public dollar.
What I can't figure out is , if Charley wanted to start a race war, why did he kill a bunch of white people, with a group of white people?
The way Bugliosi tells it (he also alleges that G.W.Bush is a murderer for the Iraq War and should be prosecuted), they stole one of the wallets and were going to drop it off in Watts or someplace to pin the crimes on black people because the Beatles told them to in the White Album (allegedly).
Bugliosi needed a criminal conspiracy scenario to link Charles Manson to the crimes since he was not present in the crime scenes.
Jeremiah Wright and many a wicked iman should be on death row for the violent actions of THEIR followers too.
Role model chilin looking like obammie and thinkin welfare a professional career. :)
Good and truthful post ditto.
I do carry concealed and ready if any thugs start some crap.
Yet, according to the article, that isn't sufficient evidence to file hate crime charges?
It's past time hate crime laws were challenged in court and overturned since they obviously aren't applied equally.
