EL CAJON, Calif. (AP) -- Police investigating the beating death of an Iraqi-American mother of five sought clues at the troubled family's home to try to identify the source of a note that fueled international speculation the killing was a hate crime, according to sealed documents inadvertently released by court staff.
The daughter of 32-year-old victim Shaima Alawadi told reporters after the March 21 attack that she found a note near her mother that told the family to go back where they came from.

The daddy did it.
It’s a little odd that the CAIR guy wasn’t quoted in this story. He was calling it a hate crime last time I read about it. I’m sure we will get an apology when the truth comes out.
Look to the male family members!
Look to the male family members!
The note said, “Go back to your country.” No self-respecting hate-filled American would say that. They would say “go back to where you came from.” People from other countries always refer to their old country as “my country.” This is anecdotal, of course, but my experience conversing with people from all over. This is why I believe that the husband did her in in some third-world customary way, then realized it wouldn’t be as easy to get away with it in this country. So he hatched a scheme to pin it on an imaginary xenophobic white racist. What could go wrong with a plan like that? With the full force of the American media behind him, all he needed was a note that sounded like an American wrote it.....
This reeks of another ‘Honor Killing!’
“Look to the male family members!”
I said that the first time I saw the story. When any muzzie woman dies, those are the people of interest.
