“And short of banning semi-automatic weapons, it’s unlikely that any new laws could prevent someone from going on a shooting spree with the weapon that authorities say One L. Goh used to kill students at Oikos University.”

Well, I dunno, California- you have a heroin ban and the feds have a cannabis ban, has either prevented people who want these substances from getting them?

Remember, your Assault Weapons Ban was supposed to stop this sort of thing.

The solution is obvious - make murder illegal, really illegal. Everyone will then know that the can’t do it and therefore they won’t.

“Strict gun laws didn’t stop this shooting, so that must mean we need even stricter ones!”

Yeah, because someone who BREAKS THE LAW just might respect this NEW law you want on the books...

What color is the sky in their world?

Guns don’t kill; people do. “Gun laws” are BS.

Maybe they should toughen their murder laws.

Are the Bradys ready to throw in the towel after the killing of seven in California?”

Here’s what a Brady lobbyist said about it, “It wasn’t a failure of laws,” said Amanda Wilcox in the article, who along with her husband, Nick, lobbies for the California chapter of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. “I just don’t see how our gun laws could have stopped something like that.”

I’ll wager that they will be among the unemployed when the Brady home office gets wind of this. Maybe the can go to work for Smith and Wesson now.

WRONG! Banning semi-automatic weapons would have no more effect than the rediculous laws Oakland, CA has already. No change in the outcome here or in any other crime. The shooter broke many laws.

He wouldn't have decided to break 8 laws but change his mind becuase he thought better of the 9th law... 'No semi-automatic weapons are allowed to be used in this crime'.

I know, right?! I'm like, some kind of social justice avenger or somethin!

I'm working on this other idea that has people performing some sort of service, I call it "a job" and in exchange they would receive a "pay" that they then exchange for the stuff and/or services they need or want.

You seem pretty smart. Maybe you can help me with a problem I have. I have a pile of bricks in my front yard. I want them in the back yard. But there is no way I can carry them one at a time. It would like, take forever. Dragging small piles of them on a board with rope is still hard work and is tearing up my grass.

Any thoughts on what could be invented to make my work easier?

You ban the people’s right to own guns; you produce criminals and as shown murderers.

The only way to combat the corrupt Communist running CA, is to not visit here, pull your business out, and do not invest in *anything* located in CA.

Send the corrupt controlling state government the message.
