As popular as all of the crime series on tv are, I think they have caused a serious misconception about how investigations and the justice system works. These tv shows make it look like everything is wrapped up, nice and neat, in an hour.
Forensic evidence is not analyzed on the spot and trials can take a very long time to come to fruition.
Makes things hard in “real life” situations.
BTW Speaking of TV one of my neighbor kids is now working in NYC (Her brother is front page editor of the WSJ) A story she did about a young lady murdered by her father will be featured on Forty-EIght hours tomorrow night. 10:00PM
