The Lord has warned us in His Holy Scriptures of the evil days preceeding the 7 year ordained tribulation on the earth in order to bring in the Lord Jesus Christ ruling over all the earth as King of kings and Lord of lords so that believing Christians may be prepared for the latter days and not be caught unawares. This 7 year tribualtion will culminatie in the war of Armageddon when God Himself in the person of Jesus Christ will descend from heaven with His armies and destroy all the armies of the nations gathered together under the wicked one, the antichrist, in Israel. Jesus Christ will defeat them by His almighty Word and God will reign in little Israel over the whole earth as King. His great Kingdom government will be His 1000 year reign on the earth of those who survive and believe on Him as Lord and Savior, also known as the Kingdom of Heaven.
